Who would think that creators of "Orange Crush" would be so in touch with fashion? As we are approaching New York Fashion Week, orange is causing ruckus not only the runway and retail but on the streets too! This vivacious shade can be seen everywhere in bags, dresses, pants, tops, blazers and even makeup. I want to show you how you can work this attention-grabbing hue into your wardrobe at an affordable way while still staying chic. I know it's quite daring to wear this color, however you won't be able to escape it, so you mine as well go full force! I recommend starting with the type of garment you feel most comfortable wearing. For me that's usually dresses or skirts. I went to H&M and picked out the coral colored skirt and the tangerine chiffon dress. The key to working with powerful colors is creating a balance, and I did exactly that by paring both outfits with neutral color items, like the nude shoes, white top, and little pastel pink purse. In terms of jewelry, for the dress I selected a gold necklace to create contrast, whereas with the skirt option I decided upon a coral necklace to create more symmetry between the white top and coral skirt. What are you waiting for? Go and get in on the "orange crush" by applying these tips to wearing this vibrant hue! go to www.trufashionfinder4u.com http://www.hm.com/

DREAM IN PRINTS: HOW TO WEAR THEM
The spring runways and retailers are
all full of print. From stripes to polka dots to florals to tribal to
geometric there is something for every fashionista out there. There
are many ways to wear spring's popular prints. You can choose one standout
piece, like a polka dot dress or floral graphic skirt like I did and pair it
with solids. You can also be more risky and combine prints too! The
trick is to sticking to one color palette. Black and white is easiest. You can
then use a pop of color in your accessories to jazz up your look, or a
solid color top with a print. Most importantly don't forget to have fun
with your look! I did exactly that at H&M, which is a great
choice for not spending a lot to look trendy! I opted for
a black and white graphic floral long skirt paired with a solid cobalt
cami, and completed the look with a pearl silver necklace that brought pop to
the white flowers in the skirt. For shoes with this outfit I
recommend a pair of black booties or open toed black heels to spring flair. for more go to www.trufashionfinder4u.com
The skirt was 17.95, the top was $5.95, and the
necklace was $9.95. http://www.hm.com

FIFTY SHADES OF BLUE
Fifty Shades of Blue, yes ladies not Grey! Blues are a great transitional color into your spring wardrobe. This color not only brightens your mood, but it brings glow to all skin tones depending on the shade of blue you choose. Lighter hues of blue are great for the workplace and casual settings, whereas stronger shades such as cobalt and ink are great for night time. Rocking the darker shades of blue with metallic accessories will give you a stellar style! Some great dress options in this shade check one of my favorites http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=15292#color=1021

CARBON COPY LOOKS FROM THE RUNWAY: SAY YES FOR LESS!
High fashion may be priced for lottery winners, socialites, or the super wealthy, but the big secret I learned over the years is that you can carbon copy the same runway looks for an hundredth of the cost. Not only can you dress sharp, but you can have fun doing it. Follow one of my weekly blogs SAY YES FOR LESS where I recreate runway looks at an unbelievable price points. Yes Ladies, you heard me "Unbelievable price points". From head to toe I will share my complete look that I wore to the Silver and Gold Benefit yesterday which cost me under $40.00: Here is how I put this Fabulous look together and you can do it too!
- DRESS- PICK A SOLID COLOR MAXI DRESS(CUTOUT): It’s important to choose colors that flatter your figure, complexion and hair color. This will create an overall glow for your look. For my complexion and overall look, I went with the shade of red. I found this dress on Clearance at Charlotte Russe for $6.25. www.charlotterusse.com
- JEWLERY-STICK TO ONE ARTICLE OF JEWLERY. To play it safe I stuck with only wearing earrings. I chose gold metallic dangle earrings to complement the structure of the red dress. Tribal Gold Earrings from Charlotte Russe for $5.00. www.charlotterusse.com
- SHOES: CHOOSE A BASIC COLOR PUMP- I wore a nude pump that I bought from Payless Shoes and the brand is Brash. The nude shoe makes the dress appear less fancy and lengthens my frame. It was on sale for $19.99. www.payless.com
- HANDBAG: PICK A CLUTCH: I wore a nude clutch that matched the shoes to create balance. I found this clutch at H&M on clearance for $5.00. http://www.hm.com
Now, if you have read to this point your probably thinking how can I do this too? It’s quite simple all you need is creativity, patience, and an open mind to breaking free from brands and price points. Follow my weekly blog Say Yes to Less, where you can learn to save money and look just as great as the looks off the runway.

FLIRTY FLORALS IN FULL SWING FOR SPRING
Spring is right around the corner and before you know it you’ll be ditching those sweaters and tights for shorts, little dresses, and tanks. A huge trend right now that is hot and is in full swing till late summer are florals. I am continuing my SAY YES FOR LESS! by showing you how you can create this trend by using three style principles that I follow when putting together any outfit. Here’s how I did it for under $55.00!
LOOK AND FEEL
This style principal is the most important of all 3 rules, because it guides my intuition and ignites my spirit. I incorporate this every time I get dressed whether it be for a casual look to evening attire. I always tell my clients and friends when "one feels good they look good." When deciding where to shop for floral prints the store “Forever 21” screamed out. I went there with a mission to not spend more than $55 from head to toe. As I scoured the store I grabbed several floral items. Of all the pieces I tried on, the knee length floral dress with the mesh cut outs provided the look of sophistication I was aiming for while making me feel feminine too . The dress cost $22.80
BUILD THE OUTFIT AROUND ONE PIECE
Any outfit that I create whether I decide I want to pick an interesting shoe or even amazing necklace to start with I build around that focal point. In this case, I started with the dress. Once I got the dress, I went to the clearance section, and found open toed burgundy wedges that brought out the reddish tone florals. Finally, I went with white/crème floral stud earrings and white leather clutch to balance the whiter florals and create symmetry within the look. Floral Studs- 3.80, Shoes/wedges/- $16.99. Crème Clutch- 9.80.
ADD THE WOW FACTOR
My last style tip when your creating any outfit, trend, or runway look is to add the “wow factor.” I define the wow factor as anything that is going to get you noticed, make a statement, or express your creativity. It could be something as simple as the earrings to an interesting manicure or wearing a striking shoe. In fact, my outfit did have the wow factor because several people last night at the JCorps charity event noticed that I was wearing a spring trend in midst of NYC winter.

TIPS TO ROCK A BANDAGE DRESS LIKE A CELEBRITY
The Bandage dress has been an iconic timeless piece since it exploded onto the fashion scene in the 80’s. Since then it has taken the celebrity world by storm and has stirred up chaos among the general female population. It has become a staple in my closet and I want it to become a staple in yours! Trust me Ladies, don’t be scared of the notorious dress. I will dispel the misguided notion that you have to look like Barbie to rock this dress by sharing insider tips that I have learned throughout the years. Read on if you want to find out how to rock one like a celebrity!
TIP #1 -DON’T BE SCARED!
I know the thought of something form fitting that clings onto every morsel of your body can trigger insecurities among majority of us. For me when I wear something that is daring I transform my mindset to one of excitement. Shifting your mindset from one of scared to one of excitement will give the dress a whole new attitude. Most bandage dresses are in fact flattering in showing off all shapes. However, if the dress feels too tight I recommend going up a size or wearing spanx underneath. In fact, the bandage dress that I wore I actually decided to go up a size in order to feel more comfortable.
TIP #2 -WEAR DARK COLORS
Since this dress is so form fitting I recommend choosing dark colors. Wearing dark colors like navy blue, gray, brown, black, deep purple, and deep red provide a more slimming look while detracting the eye from any flaws. To slenderize my frame I stuck to the colors of purple and black, which helped hide any extra pounds that I may have picked up from the month of holiday bliss.
TIP # 3- PLAY WITH PORPORTIONS
Knowing what styles flatter your shape and maximizing your body is important. Being on the petite side with some curves I stuck to a shorter dress that went off my shoulders. For those who have curves including myself, stick to styles that have lower necklines like spaghetti straps, off the shoulder, or strapless. On the other hand, those who are taller, have longer legs, or are more narrow stick to styles that have high necklines as that will create the illusion of an hourglass and play down your height. Also, choosing a pattern bandage dress can create more symmetry between a slightly bigger bottom and a smaller top. The dress that I picked did exactly that. For those on the fuller side I recommend going with A-line style that is at least mid length or longer, thus creating the illusion of a smaller shape.
TIP #4 -LOOK OUT ACCESSORIES
Be careful in not going crazy with the accessories. Stick to metallic jewelry like gold and silver, and stay away from anything too flashy, because the bandage dress is already a showstopper. I decided to wear a unique gold bracelet and gold stud earrings.
TIP #5 -STICK TO SIMPLE SHOES
Ladies, don’t go crazy with the shoe. Stick with a basic color pump or stiletto. This will elongate the frame and keep focus on the main “eye candy”, the dress. Avoid chunky shoes and wedges because they create dissonance from the whole look, possibly causing you to look out of proportion with your frame. Depending on the climate, open toe or closed heels make great choices as well.
TIP #6- OWN THE DRESS
It’s important when wearing this dress you live up to its show stopping qualities. I’m not saying over do it so no one approaches you, but walk as if you’re a model on the catwalk, stand straight, appear confident, and don’t forget to smile so you seem approachable.
