3 MODERN WAYS TO FIRE UP THE LEATHER SKINNIES!

Are you ready to make this the hottest fall yet?  Forget the go to back  skinnies,  or your favorite boyfriend jeans this season it’s all about 2014’s hot pants, The Leather Skinnies!   Long gone are the days where you don’t have to be member of Hell’s Angels, or a front stage rocker from Gwen Stefani’s band No Doubt, or even a character out of Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion to wear these in an ultra modern way. These days leather skinnies are more like hot cakes, celebrities to fashion enthusiasts including myself are in frenzy over this trend and can’t keep their hands off them. Be ready to have your fire department armed and ready this season, because I have 3 modern ways to fire up the leather skinnies! Read on how to make this one sizzling  season! 

IGNITE WITH COLOR

It’s a no brainer in the game of fashion wearing black in any item is always a safe bet.  However, rocking this style in a different color beyond the basic basic black leather skinnies will for sure add a modern spin.  Take a color that is trending for fall and look for leather skinnies in that color. I did that by going for an oxblood color.  Crimson and reddish brown hues are always strong for fall.

CREATE SPARKS THROUGH SIMPLICITY

When creating any ultra modern look it’s best to stick to a theme of simplicity.  With leather leggings in order avoid looking too themed or costumey stay away from over complicated designs and pieces. I created my sparks by sticking with a solid color black top that had a cold shoulder style, and classic black heels.

MAINTAIN FIRE WITH DETAILS

With any bonfire it’s always best to maintain with care.  With leather skinnies to rock in an ultra modern way pay attention to those small details with care!  I did exactly that by opting for a peek-a-boo styled  black colored top and going for long gold earrings. I still maintained that simplicity I was aiming for without going over the top when it came to incorporating those small details.  Those little details in a modern look will be the difference between an ordinary style versus a rock star style!
