Like a bold lipstick, your brows can be a signature statement to your face. Today, I’m a fan of full natural eyebrows, but in my earlier years I did not feel this way. When I was younger in my early 20's and up until a few years ago I was all about having super arched eyebrows, but it wasn't until I went to a new brow bar that a brow specialist had showed me that the over tweezing and arching was actually taking away from my natural arch. I decided to listen to her and let my eyebrows grow in, and then came to realize that my eyebrows looked way better and in fact more arched in the area where the over tweezing was. Although some of you may not be fans of the thick natural eyebrow, hold that thought for just a second! Bold doesn’t have to necessarily imply going all bushy, or completely dark. A variety of naturally full thick brows took over 2014 runways, inviting you to start searching for your own happy medium. However, there are so many reasons why you should stop over tweezing and get on board at least a bit with the full natural brow.
HERE ARE 5 REASONS TO TOSS THE TWEEZERS
1) It's a known fact that full naturally arched brows create a younger appearance and other articles have revealed it’s like an instant facelift.
2) Known to be a beauty benchmark in that they frame your face, so having fuller brows creates balance within the rest of your face.
3) They create big brighter eyes.
4) Some of the most beautiful celebs are known for their signature brows- Lilly Collins, Kiera Knightly, Cara Delevingne, Kate Upton, Brooke Shields, Megan Fox, Alesha Dixon, Jennifer Connelly, Camila Belle, and more.
5) It's very outdated to have over tweezed eyebrows, and you can never go wrong with a natural shaped arch.
HOW TO GET FULLER EYE BROWS
- Go to a brow bar that specializes in naturally shaped brows
- Research online the natural arch of how a eyebrow should be and then show the person exactly how you want it shaped
- If you’re not blessed with fuller eyebrows, there are a variety of products you can use to fill them or make them appear fuller. Tinting the eyebrows for those with lighter eyebrow hairs is a new service which many people are liking because it cuts the hassle of using products to fill in the eyebrows
- Most importantly toss the tweezers and let them grow in between your maintenance appointment. If you feel the need to tweeze make sure you are out of the main brow area. Remember you are not a specialist, and you can end up making your eyebrows appear uneven.
